1. •All metal materials used in the construction of our steel screen doors and gates are up to 50% thicker than the metals used by home improvement store brands.
   

2. •All of our security products are fully welded at all corners making them one solid steel piece, unlike the competition’s which are weaker and pieced together at the sides. In addition, Wilderness Security Door & Gate only uses high quality stainless steel in our doors and gates instead of decorative metal studs which can leave unsightly rust streaks.
   

3. •We purchase our own wood, plane it so the lines are true, sand and stain it, then apply a sealer for a beautiful, low-maintenance security or RV gate. We use cedar panels as a standard because we have found it weathers the best in the Southwest’s harsh climate. However, the customer may choose a custom wood product or finish.
   

4. •We use only quality, steel screen materials instead of fiberglass or its equivalents which can be penetrated with minimal effort. Intruders will need either a saw or torch to penetrate our steel security doors or automatic gates.

Our skilled craftsmen draw, cut, weld and fabricate the security door or security gate to fit your opening precisely so that there are no gaps or hidden “extras” to pay for. A home improvement store will sell you the gate or door at the closest size to your opening, then charge you an “extra fee” to get it to match your opening.
   

3. •Our labor is “in-house” where it’s in a controlled environment. The more we can do at our shop, at a shop rate, the more efficient and economical the job will be. Shop costs are typically less than ½ the cost of working on the job in the field.
